As Authors, travel writers, freelance outdoors communicators, and specialty product representatives, as well as consumers too,  we always strive to be able to overnight nest in quiet, comfortable rooms and surroundings. On this trip to Port Charlotte and environs, we found that “nest” at Sleep Inn & Suites on Kings Highway, just off I-75, Port Charlotte. The beds were comfy, the suite type room had everything to be comfortable. It included easy-use hot shower, good breakfasts, pet-friendly accommodations, a very nice pool, work-out room, and friendly, accommodating staff.
