Three dishes from Wise Foods. We tried the lasagna and it was very good! We just added boiled water and feasted on a cold day on the mountain on hot tasty food.APtravelnews-October 19th, Crossville, TN.—“Be Wise Be Ready” is the way the Wise Company, a freeze dry food packaging and food storage group starts off their catalogue of fruits, vegetables, meats and various supplements packaged in bulk and individual packages lets you in on their great products. Survival expert Brian Brawdy says “Don’t face your next emergency on an empty stomach” and I say the dishes are very tempting and real. The products last for many years and when needed just add water. They have heat and water source on-the-go items as well. Barb and I got three packages to try: Savory Stroganoff-pasta with onions, mushrooms and beef flavor in a creamy sauce, Creamy pasta and vegetable Rotini, and cheesy lasagna. On these dishes we just boiled water and the extended shelf life, emergency recommended quick cook dishes provided 2-4 servings. So far we had the Cheesy Lasagna for 2 bag and it was very good!
Frankly, with or without current events sounding so ominous, anyone should consider having a supply of healthy, easy dishes on hand that last so long on the shelf, survival room, backpack, boat, etc. According to the CDC a person can last 30-days without food before they expire, 4-days without water. However, after a day or two without either you would be going down-hill and suffering all the way. Your survival window of opportunity shrinking by the hour, until even if you’re alive after a long time, you probably wouldn’t have the energy to assist in your own rescue.

Big interest at the Click-It Hot, Use It Cold booth at the South Eastern Press Association 50th Anniversary Conference at Fontana Lakes Resort.
APtravelnews-Oct. 11th, Fontana Lake Resort, N.C.–For the first time Click-It Hot Use It Cold attended an Outdoor Writers Conference. Company personnel President, Dennis McAlister, Rick Voight from the Simplicity Group and yours truly Bob and Barb introduced this new supporting member to the hundreds gathered at the Break-Out-Day show and tell, where they got the chance to meet outdoor writers from all over the Southern States and demonstrate and explain all about their excellent Click-It Hot–Use it Cold heating and cooling pads.
The big question asked by all writers and other media groups such as TV and Radio, Blog Posters and other companies representatives was: “can you use it again and again-are the units reusable after the first initial use to heat up to 130 degrees in 5-seconds, stay hot for those cold days and cool for the hot ones.” The answer: a resounding yes, yes and yes! Barb and I love this product and we are so enamored of its simplicity and usefulness for all the outdoor pursuits, but also as a medical saver device too! Arthritis need it hot, a wound that swells, use it cold. For additional information go: www.ClickitHot.com
