The Orchard Inn-A Favorite Place For us/you To Unwind, Or Wind-Up For Christmas Or Any Time at All

AMERICAN PRESS TRAVEL NEWS, Saluda, N.C.-Bob Epstein, CorrespondentEnjoy a Dickens Dinner at The Orchard Inn–Barb and I love this Inn! We enjoyed the family feel of it and especially the cuisine. Breakfast was extraordinary! No, I will not describe it here. I want you to have the best surprise by going to this B&B Inn and experiencing it for yourself! The dinners; likewise!

“When it comes to modern times, we all love the conveniences that this age has afforded us, like new technologies, fast cars, and new ways of enjoying everyday things like amazing dinners. However, it is also fun to step back in time and spend an evening learning more about another way of life”, said the Inns owners.

When Theodore Roosevelt was elected President in an another time and era in the American dream, he knew there was place for all Americans in the outdoors experience. Travelers to Saluda and through it and heading for the East, had to make the Saluda Grade. A very steep uphill run. The little town became famous as the place where the old trains such as this old timer had to puff a whole lot harder to make the grade!

APtravelnews- (American Press Travel News)-April 10th, Port Charlotte, FL. “Bob and Barb On The Road Again” and “Stopping to Smell the Roses” at Sleep Inn. As Authors, travel writers, freelance outdoors communicators, and specialty product representatives, as well as consumers too,  we always strive to be able to overnight nest in quiet, comfortable rooms and surroundings. On this trip to Port Charlotte and environs, we found that “nest” at Sleep Inn & Suites on Kings Highway, just off I-75, Port Charlotte. The beds were comfy, the suite type room had everything to be comfortable. It included easy-use hot shower, good breakfasts, pet-friendly accommodations, a very nice pool, work-out room, and friendly, accommodating staff. There were restaurants in walking distance, and just hop, skip and jump onto I-75 we used to go towards all areas of Punta Gorda, Gasparilla, Placida and some other locations, both inland and waterfront  that we wanted to visit.  This pet-friendly location is a fine place to roost when visiting Port Charlotte and environs-highly recommended!! www.sleepinnportcharlotte.com  Tel: 941-613-6300

The way it used to be! But, not so friendly or accomodating staff today!

APtravelnews-March 29th, -Norwegian Cruise Lines at the Port of Miami-Provided by David and Melissa-
Remember when the last time you took a cruise, the overall experience and service was at the very least, exceptional and made you “keeper”, pleasant memories. Well, Cruising good service then and now things are not as they used to be. If you were on a cruise more than 5 years ago, you remember your server/waiter/ busboy- where they were from and something about why they are on the ship, likely to support their family in a far away country. If you have recently gone cruising at least on a Norwegian Liner, then you probably have very little happy memories at least about their food services. The new super-ships are beautiful and offer many new restaurant options-but!. Part of my family memories with my parents brother and children were bonding over dinner, and the servers all were part of that experience to some important extent.
