APtravelnews-Feb 7th,-Bob and Barb “Stopped to Smell the Roses and taste the octopus.” Seth greeted us and sent over a couple of great beverages.
With a Mojito and a fine Bloody Mary on the table we sliced into an octopus tentacle with a vengeance (I’d hate to meet his daddy on a revenge date) and then the mussels Catalan came out to greet us! These juicy and very tasty mollusks were embedded in a nice tomato sauce infused with fried garlic, almonds and a toast section for dipping and pushing on that sauce, that was so delicioso! Empanadas too with lamb piccadillo with a guajillo demi glace. The Spanish River Grill was recommended by the folks at Night Swan and it was a great pick for our last dinner before we left New Smyrna Beach the next morning!
