Tin Fish Restaurant in Tradition Has New Dedicated Owner & Same Great Seafood!

Traditions Tin Fish Restaurant rocks with seafood!
Traditions Tin Fish Restaurant rocks with seafood!

APtravelnews-January 11th, Bob and Barb “On The Road Again” in Port St. Lucie, West, Traditions Square- One of the now many, Tin Fish Restaurants has a new owner, Rob Troup.  Rob is keeping with the excellent consistency that has been a hallmark of the Tin Fish ascendancy from one restaurant, to now several restaurants and going into the “full-metal-jacket” of franchising as well.

Over a couple of years now, we have dined at several of the Click-It Hot Restaurants and found the seafoods and fish to be in excellent taste and value. We just arrived home from Traditions Square Click-It Hot and from the shrimp, scallops, cod fish, Calamari (squid) their special spicy cole slaw, and mahi, mahi we are stuffed, but happy (we took home a good amount for tomorrow) campers! We also started off our meal with a solid cup of both corn and shrimp chowder, and clam chowder. Frankly, quite spectacular and I don’t offer that comment lightly! Do we recommend Tin Fish, a rousing “yes!”

Our delightful waitress delivered wonderfully tasty clam and also corn and shrimp chowders. The salad was quite beyond what we expected. It was so good we're going back just for this fine melange!

This salad was a meal in itself. It had everything a gourmet would love!

APtravelnews-Jan. 11th Bob and Barb “On The Road Again” in Orlando, FL. We stopped in for a few days at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. We stayed to visit Mike Lee and his wife at the ASI Show. The Lee’s had a booth showcasing opportunities for businesses, to their custom logo’d products. Unique to say the least, imagine fishing lures with your or any picture on it, made into key chains, packaging for clients that wish to give, or award gifts to their clients, etc. Check out Al’s Goldfish fishing items and lures at www.alsgoldfish.com and their Branding website is: Alsgoldfishpromo.com

Our motto in fishing: “Carry the “Gold” in all your tackle packs!”

Barb loves to fish when she has an edge and doesn't have the whole day to hopefully hook a neighbor with shoulders enough for us to spar with! She has become an Al's lover too!

APtravelnews-January 27th,-Bob and Barb “Stopping To Smell the Roses” in Orlando! We’ve eaten at the Ming Dynasty just down from the Orange Country Convention Center. It is a favorite of ours. 5-years ago we ate at Ming Dynasty and I remembered on this, our recent trip for the ASI Show about the really great eggplant dish they served at that time. So on this recent trip, I was hoping that their consistency was as it should be-spot on! It was!  We had duck and that aforementioned eggplant dish, and I promise if I give them a 10 out of 10 (almost never get that lucky to be able to do this) you can take it to the bank! Check them out on web Ming Dynasty Orlando!

For meat we had to find it where we could. No I hated monkey meat, felt like I would be a cannibal to eat of it, but our friends at a huge rubber plantation asked me to go get some for his men, the plantation owner thought that they couldn’t figure out where the bullet went or how the trigger worked. I think he didn’t want them to shoot him, so he didn’t trust them with guns!
Checkpoint Mazumba, bribes necessary to continue down the rutted 10-foot wide highway in the Congo! The guns were carved wood show rifles, these guys use as bats to beat the hell out of their countrymen.
